1. She then attended Tobin Business College and became employed at the Boston Store. On April 16, 1947 she was united in marriage to Maurice Flattery at St. Joseph's Church in Duncombe. The couple made their home near Vincent, where they farmed their entire life. She was employed part-time as a cook at the Vincent School. Denise was active at St. John's Catholic Church Guild, Hobby Club, and 500 Card Club. She was an avid sports fan of the St. Edmond Gaels. Denise will be remembered for her deep faith and her life of Christian service.
