Madison - Carol Kehl, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at home. She was born on December 24, 1928 in Gratiot, the daughter of Norvald and Cleo (Heikam) Bjelde.
Carol graduated from Edgewood High School in Madison. She worked for the Federal Department of Agriculture for over 20 years.
Her focus was on her family. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of her heart.
She was an excellent seamstress and helped with costumes for the Stoughton Center for the Preforming Arts and Stage Works projects for many years. She enjoyed making quilts for her family.
She is survived by her husband Edwin; children, Coleen, Michael (Ann), Christopher (Marita) and Tim (Karen); grandchildren, Zeke Barraza, Joshua Barraza, Lucas Barraza, Kristen Kehl-Floberg, Nora Beck, Adam Frydenlund, Alexia Kehl, Joseph Kehl, Christopher Kehl, David Kehl, Daniel Kehl, Rebecca Kehl and Rachel Kehl; great grandchildren, Zeke Barraza, Kaylie Frydenlund and Kiah Frydenlund. She was predeceased in death by daughter, Lori Kehl and brother, Earl Bjelde.
