Richard Wayne Kampmeier, of Antigo, died Sunday, July 21, 2013, as a result of a car accident. He was 23 years old. He was born on Aug. 23, 1989, in Antigo, a son of Greg and Michelle (Rose) Kampmeier of Antigo.
He was a 2008 graduate of Antigo High School.
He was employed as an insulation installer with Robinson Brothers in Marinette.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and football.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother, Michael Kampmeier, Antigo; a half-brother, Stephen (Ashley) Sensenbrenner of Plover; a nephew, Ian Sensenbrenner, Plover; maternal grandmother, Jardis Rose, Antigo; paternal grandmother, Merry Kampmeier, Stevens Point; aunts and uncles, Te'a (Ed) Schweinebart, Pennsylvania, Theresa (William Jr.) Clark, Polar, Paula (Michael) Loomis, Wausau, Ryan Rose, Stevens Point, Kevin (Tera) Rose, Phillips, Eric (Jody) Kampmeier, Sycamore, Ill., Laurel (Bill) Miller, Chaska, Minn. and Susan (Kevin) Sliwicki, Stevens Point.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Richard Rose and paternal grandfather, Wayne Kampmeier.
