Theresa L. Hutchison

Theresa Lynn Hutchison was born September 17, 1968 in Atlantic, Iowa to Norman and Donna (Georgeson) Smith. Theresa graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Northwest Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She met Richard Hutchison while in college and they were married on April 26, 1997 in Algona. The couple moved to Algona where Theresa worked part time then became a day care provider from 2000 to 2011. Theresa was a caring individual and was the happiest when she was providing for others. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a very positive attitude even through her health problems and looked to the Lord for her strength. She was active at her church, Faith Assembly of God, where she organized the JC Food Cupboard. She was also an artist and enjoyed crafts as well as silk flower arranging. She touched many lives and will be missed by those who knew her. Theresa died suddenly at her home in Algona on Monday evening, July 22, 2013 at the age of 44.
