Carol L. Baker, 70, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013, Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013, 11:00 AM, Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, David Fry, Celebrant. Memorials may be donated to the Iowa City Hospice. Carol was born on September 16, 1942 in Iowa City and was the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy Elisabeth Boots Dahl. She attended Stanwood Schools and on July 13, 1956 she was united in marriage to Earl Harry Baker in Kahoka, Missouri. Carol was a homemaker and was employed as a teacher at the Sycamore Learning Center in Tipton from 2001 to 2009.
