ctric of Omaha in 2005. Ben married Marie Nelsen of Audubon on December 14, 1963, and they relocated to Papillion, Nebraska. They welcomed son, Jay, in 1965, and daughter, Janelle, in 1973. Ben and Marie lived in Papillion from 1963 - 1977 where he attended Trinity Lutheran Church, coached Little League Baseball and was an Indian Guide Leader for son, Jay. From 1977-1978, the family resided in Carson, Iowa. In 1978, the family moved to Treynor, Iowa, where they reside today. Survivors include his wife of nearly fifty years, Marie, as well as a brother, Merlin, of Blair, NE and sister, Joyce (Barney) Harding, of Turin, IA. He is also survived by his son, Jay, and wife, Sally, of Treynor and daughter, Janelle, and husband, Todd Revier, of Sioux Falls, SD; six grandchildren, Gracie (17) and Emma (15) Myers, of Treynor, Jack (16), Leslie (14), Adrienne (8) and Victoria (8) Revier, of Sioux Falls. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ralph and Anna Myers, brothers, Chuck and Russ, sister, Marylin Harris, and a niece, Jan Myers. Ben enjoyed spending time in his yard nurturing his plants and flowers. He could grow anything the "plant store" had to offer. He made growing elephant ears and apple gourds look easy. Ben often made day-trips with Marie antiquing, where he'd sneak an occasional addition to his clown collection. Whenever possible they met daughter, Janelle, and family for a fun outing. He loved taking pictures, especially of his grandchildren. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved attending their many events whether it be dancing or sports.
