Gloria Jane Jones

Gloria Jane Jones, 90, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away September 26, 2013 at Manor Pines Convalescent Center. She was born September 13, 1923, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Albert Henry and Alma Mary (Linberger) Frank. Gloria was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Life Master Fort Lauderdale Bridge Club, and enjoyed golfing. She retired from Broward General Medical Center several years ago as a registered nurse. Survived by son, Thomas Perry (Jaime Gordon) Jones, of Fort Lauderdale; daughters, Diane Kathleen (Mark) Grefer of Plano, Texas, and Sandra Lee (David) Barton of Plantation, Florida; brother, Fritz Frank of Plantation, Florida; sisters, Nancy Leah Whittinghill of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mary Alma Phillips of Tampa, Florida; six grandchildren: Todd, Erin, Laura, Michelle, Thomas, and Craig; and two great-grandchildren: Bryce and Lauren. Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Perry Jones (1984). A private family burial has held at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery.
