Andrew John Hauser IOWA CITY, Iowa--Andrew John Hauser, 27, of Muscatine, died on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at University Hospitals in Iowa City. Private family inurnment will take place in Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton. Memorial donations may be made to Child Life Services at the University of Iowa or Shepherd of the Cross Lutheran Church in his memory. The Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, is in charge of the arrangements. Andrew was born on July 11, 1986, in Muscatine, the son of Anthony and Trude Hauser. Andrew was a member of Shepherd of the Cross Lutheran Church, Muscatine and was a Boy Scout with Troop #128, Muscatine. He enjoyed building models, camping and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his parents, Anthony and Trude Hauser of Muscatine; his sister, Amanda Hauser Newberry and husband, Erik, of Muscatine; and his paternal grandmother, June Hauser of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; his paternal grandfather; and his brother, Alex Lee Hauser.[more]
