Murphy, Kevin Matthew, 61, of Chillicothe, OH passed from this life on October 22, 2013. He was a former resident of Grand Blanc, MI and Springboro, OH. Kevin was the son of Matthew and Lillian Murphy, both deceased. He was born in Yonkers, NY and grew up in New York and Connecticut. He earned an BA degree in economics from St. AnselmCollege, an MA degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame,and an MBA in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His professional career included twenty years as Chief Financial Officer of Middletown Regional Hospital in Middletown, OH, five years as CFO at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI. He had mostrecently been named CFO of Adena Health System in Chillicothe, OH in May 2013. Kevin shared his life with Jane Garland, whom he married in 1976. He was the proud and loving father of daughters Aidan, a student at Eckerd Collegein St. Petersburg, FL, and Caoilinn, a senior at Powers Catholic High School in Flint, MI. Visitation will be at Anderson Funeral Homes, 40 N. Main St., Springboro, OH on Friday,October 25, 2013 between 6 and 8PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church in Lebanon, OH on Saturday, October 26, 2013at 10AM.
