Robert "Bob" Eric Shobe

Robert "Bob" Eric Shobe, age 49, of Bussey, passed from this life on November 24, 2013 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born on June 22, 1964 in Knoxville to Oren Eugene and Shirley Imogene (Allen) Shobe. Bob graduated from Twin Cedars High School. Following graduation he enlisted with the United States Navy. He was blessed with two children, Noah, and Natheniel. He was a member of the Masonic Gavel Lodge 229 of Attica. Bob loved to fish, work on cars, and was a jack of all trades. He is survived by his two sons, Noah and Natheniel of Bussey; Parents, Oren (Shirley) Shobe of Bussey; one brother, Rodney (Mary) Shobe of Knoxville, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by one stillborn sister, Rhonda. Gravside Services will be on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:00 am in Marysville Cemetery with Vince Goemaat officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lovilia, opening to the public at 4:00 pm and family will be present from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening.
