Jack Q. Blair WEST LIBERTY, Iowa--Jack Q. Blair, 87, died Thursday, December 12, 2013, at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013, at the Cedar Valley United Methodist Church. Burial will take place in Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty. Visitation will be held from 3 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Jack was born on November 26, 1926, in Mt. Zion, the son of John and Ferne Foster Blair. He graduated from West Liberty High School in 1944. Jack then went on to serve in the Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war, he attended Iowa State College for two years. Jack was united in marriage to Beverly Borgstadt on October 7, 1951, in Sweetland. Jack and Beverly farmed together in the West Liberty area. He was a member of the Cedar Valley United Methodist Church.
