n every holiday. She baked delicious traditional holiday cuisine in a small space-saving kitchen and served it on a beautiful decorated table in a quaint dining room. She enjoyed decorating and was proud to duplicate her mother's favorite bake good recipes for all the holidays. Rosemary remembers mom's famous birthday cake with a doll in a beautiful lace dress in it that looked just like her. Her grandchildren's favorite dish was the "pink stuff" on Thanksgiving, and any day was a good day for her homemade beefaroni. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and took care of herself so that she could take of others. She was well practiced in yoga which gave her physical and mental strength. She always presented herself with savvy style, and rejoiced on good hair days. After retirement she enjoyed spending the summers in the Green Mountains of Vermont and the warm winters in Hollywood, FL. In 2008 she made Hollywood her permanent home again but reveled in the bi-annual family reunions and enjoyed a week long cruise to Alaska. Pauline was an avid bowler and proud of her 260 game, took pride in her flower garden in Vermont and enjoyed a good game of cards with family or friends. Polly had an inner strength to survive substantial obstacles. Even though she was a divorced single mother on limited funds, she put her 2 daughters through private Catholic school, traveled on family fun vacations, made memorable holidays and provided a loving home. In her more senior years she overcame the drudgery of dialysis 3 days a week, a broken shoulder and a hip break in 3 places. She never gave up. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Rosemary Petrone and Karen Spencer (spouse Charles Walz), her grandchildren Bryan Jordan (wife Justina), Patrick Jordan, Katie Spencer and Adam Spencer, her 3 brothers in Vermont, Calvin Frost (wife Joyce), Charles Frost, and Hamilton Frost (wife Thelma) and a sister, Bernadine Rodgers, in Michigan.
