Johnnie Stallings, 58, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Saturday, January 04, 2014 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday January 09, 2014 at The Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home which is serving the family. Survivors include his significant other Carolyn Gully; children, Nadine Dungy, Felicia Dungy both of Houston, TX; Adrian(Amanda)Gully, of Des Moines, IA; Johniece (Ronnie) Henderson of St. Louis, MO; Demetrius (Ericka) Gully, Tanisha Gully both of Fort Dodge, IA; Derek Johnson of Iowa City, IA; brothers, Benny (Kim) Stallings, Matthew Grady, both of Fort Dodge; Albert (Michelle) Grady of Coulter, IA; Bernard Grady, Poochie Grady of St. Louis, MO; sisters, Dorthy Grady, Pauline Grady, Jeanette (Michael) Richardson all of Fort Dodge, IA; 22 grandchildren;1 great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews; and many friends. 955 in Lauderdale, MS. He was raised in Fort Dodge, IA. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1973. Then in 1974 he joined the army. In 1978 he returned to Fort Dodge where he worked in Highway Construction, for 25 years. In 2008 he attended Iowa Central Community College for Fine Arts. Johnnie's hobbies were to fish and his love for Art. Johnnie loved his grandchildren and giving advice. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
