Terry F. Nelson

Terry F. Nelson, 68, of rural Jackson, NE passed away at a Sioux City hospital on Monday, January 6, 2014. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Jackson, NE with Father Paul Albenesius officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. John's Cemetery in rural Jackson. Visitation with the family present will begin at the church at noon with a Rosary, and will continue until service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca, NE. Terry was born on May 10, 1945 in Sioux City, IA, the son of Jim and Helen (Kneifl) Nelson. He graduated from Emerson Sacred Heart in Emerson, NE, attended seminary in Elkhorn, NE and graduated from a two-year business college. He was employed most of his life at the Dixon County Feedlot in rural Allen, NE. His two passions were geneology and cooking.
