CLIFFORD BURR MUSCATINE, Iowa - Clifford W. Burr, 80, of Muscatine, died on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Lutheran Homes. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Reverend Barbara Burr Muhs will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Sweetland United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society. Clifford was born on December 1, 1933, in Muscatine, the son of Albert and Wanda Loga Burr. He married Shirley Schroeder on September 27, 1953, in Muscatine. He farmed his entire life and he retired from Grain Processing Corporation in 1993. He was a member of Sweetland United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fixing old tractors, farming, woodworking, and carpentry. He especially loved his grandchildren. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Shirley Burr of Muscatine; his children, Joan Dietrich and husband, Alek, of Muscatine, Linda Kujawa and husband, John, of Granville, Ohio, and Brian Burr and wife, Cindy, of Muscatine; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Marian Schubich of Muscatine; four brothers, Robert Burr, Ralph and Frank Burr, all of Muscatine, and Ger...[more]
