David C. Quick

Dave Quick of Oconomowoc, WI died on January 11th, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 16, 1935 in Borup, MN, the son of late G. Emil and Martha (Mickleson) Quick. Dave married Evelyn Nall of Spencer, WI on April 23, 1960. They were married for 53 years. Dave was a graduate of Felton, MN high school in 1953. He graduated in 1957 from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. He earned his Master's degree in 1963 from University of Minnesota. Dave served in the U.S. Army reserves for 6 years. He worked at Baker Manufacturing in Evansville, WI, Allis Chalmers in West Allis, WI, and Sundstrand in Rockford, IL. Dave retired from Sundstrand in 1998 and moved to Watertown, WI. He enjoyed his hobby farm and restoring a 1935 Allis Chalmers tractor and 1930 Ford Model A. Dave had a strong faith in God and love for the Bible. The support of friends and family has helped us through these times. Funeral Service at 6:30 PM. Private Burial at Ottawa Cemetery.
