Dennis J. Harder, 64, of West Point, NE passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the West Point Living Center in West Point, NE. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg, NE with Rev. Dr. Klaus Raab officiating. Burial will be in Silver Ridge Cemetery in rural Ponca, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca, NE. Dennis was born in Sioux City, IA on May 14, 1949, the son of Carl and Verna (Stallbaum) Harder. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg on July 3, 1949. He lived at home before moving to the Beatrice State Home in Beatrice, NE. He later moved to Lyons, NE and worked at Region IV before moving to Oakland, NE where he lived while working at Northstar Services in West Point. Dennis moved to West Point Living Center where he resided for the past year. He enjoyed playing cards, music and getting his haircut.
