Betty Jane Fisher COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado -- Betty Jane Fisher, 84, of Colorado Springs, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. Betty was born on April 15, 1929, in Benton Township, Missouri, to Thomas and Martha Martin Bryant. She was united in marriage to George N. Fisher Sr. on May 18, 1947, in Greensburg, Missouri. In 1952, they moved to Illinois and in 1966, moved to Muscatine, Iowa, prior to their relocation to Colorado in 1986. Those left to honor her memory include three sons, George Fisher Jr. and wife, Cheryl, of Muscatine, Iowa, Terry Fisher and wife, Karla, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Steve Fisher and wife, Sheryl, of Colorado Springs; three daughters, Linda Burke of Muscatine, Iowa, Joyce Brugman and husband, William, of Muscatine, Iowa, and Connie Ahr and husband, Larry, of Queen Creek, Arizona; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Barbara Hayward. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; and one sister.[more]
