Henry J. Olevnik

Henry J. Olevnik of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, formerly of Erie, PA, passed away after a brief illness on January 19th at the age of 94. Mr. Olevnik was born in Natrona, PA, son of Helen Olevnik (Kubich) and John Olevnik. He was preceded in death by brothers Chester and William, and sisters Genevieve Tobin and Irene Schings. He was also preceded in death by former wife, Irene (Buzanowski) Sherman, Bernadine (Lippert) Olevnik, and granddaughter, Joanna Rappaport. Mr. Olevnik was the beloved father of Eileen Rappaport of Kissimmee, FL, Elaine Frank (John) of Canandaigua, NY, and Jan Alexiou (George) of Raleigh, NC. He leaves four grandchildren: Meredith Rappaport, and Melena, Celeste and Darek Alexiou. Mr. Olevnik was a General Contractor in the greater Erie area, and in retirement, enjoyed his life in sunny Florida. Funeral arrangements in Erie, PA will be held at the convenience of his family.[more]
