Kevin Lee Payne

Kevin Lee Payne, 54, of Fort Dodge, died Monday, February 10, 2014 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge after a short illness. Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2014 at the First Covenant Church in Fort Dodge with pastor Allan Redenius officiating. A private burial service will be held in March at Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Dodge. The Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements. Kevin is survived by his parents, Dan and Kay Payne; his brother, Kelly (Anne) Payne and sister, Laura (Steve) Rees all of Fort Dodge; his daughter, Brittney and his son, Cody; also his aunts, Pat Blunt and Diane Elsen. Kevin is preceded in death by his brothers, H.J. Payne and Dan Allen Payne; his grandparents, Jack and Gertrude Payne and Louis and Florence Elsen. Kevin Lee Payne, the son of Dan and Kay (McCullough) Payne was born March 30, 1959 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1977 and worked as a carpenter.
