Bernadine Campbell Brandel, 84, of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Services are 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Gunderson Chapel. Burial is in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Gunderson's. Survivors include children, Lonnie (Carole) Brandel, Indianola; Linda (Phillip) Smith, Fort Dodge; Kurtis (Billie) Brandel, Renton, Wash.; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burna and Ada (Cooley) Campbell, a son Charles Brandel Jr., and two brothers, Austin and Virgil Campbell. [more]
