Susan Rae Davis

Susan Rae Davis, 61, of Fort Dodge, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at her home in Fort Dodge. A visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Rae (Chad) Grove; grandsons, Ryan and Chase; her mother, Roberta Rae Ross; two sisters, Marcia (Gary) Dutcher and Sharon (Pat) Moore; three brothers, Clark and John Jones and Bill (Dixie) Grall; and many nieces and nephews. Sue is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Larson her father, Earl Larson and an aunt, Shirley Perry. Susan "Sue" Rae Larson the daughter of, Earl and Roberta Rae (Kelly) Larson was born November 1, 1952 in Fort Dodge. Sue was raised in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1970. She later graduated from La' James College of Hairstyling and was employed at La' James College of Hairstyling for 30 years. Sue was currently the manager at Cost Cutters Salon in Fort Dodge. She also enjoyed taking care of residents at the Bickford Cottage's Salon. Sue spent her leisure time enjoying her family and friends. She was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church. ...[more]
