heir children, Alisha, Ryan, Joel and Benjamen. Betty was a clerical employee for A.C.T. for 14 years. She also worked at Tipton Senior Center, Tipton State Bank and Hawkeye Bank. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tipton, Iowa. She served on St. Bernadette's Circle and was a past board member of Cedar County Coordinated Child Care. Betty enjoyed gardening, volleyball, flowerbeds, playing with her dog, Chloe, redecorating the house, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and was a devout follower of Christ her entire life. Betty is loved and survived by her mother, Mary Ellen Weiland of Stanwood, Iowa; husband, Kevin of Tipton, Iowa; daughter, Alisha Wright of Tipton, Iowa; sons, Ryan Wright of Tipton, Iowa, Joel (Shelby) Mixdorf of Iowa City, Iowa and Benjamen Mixdorf of Sioux City, Iowa; brothers, Thomas (Dawn) Weiland of Stanwood, Iowa, Charles (Kathy) Weiland of Remsen, Iowa and Michael (Laurie) Weiland of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; mother and father-in law, Alvin and Mary Wright of Tipton; brother-in-law, Kerry (Chris) Wright of Tipton, Iowa; and sisters-in-law, Arlene Weiland of North Liberty, Iowa and Amy (Scott) Kenworthy of Roulett, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father in 1997; brother, Eugene "Buzz" Weiland; and sister-in-law, Michele Wright of Tipton, Iowa. Betty's greatest joy was spending time and making memories with her children.
