Dolores M. Peterson

Dolores Marie Peterson, age 89 of Forest Lake, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014. Dolores and her huband, Jack, enjoyed walking together every morning and did a lot of traveling together after retirement. In June of 2002, she founded the "Lake Bloomers" chapter of the Red Hat Ladies and reigned as Queen Mum for many years. She was proud to be a part of "her Forest Lake community." She is preceded in death by her son, Jeff in 2000; and her brothers, Dick and Bob Valenty. Dolores is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jack; her children, John (Suzanne) Peterson, Claudia (Dan) Lowe, Jim Peterson, Joan (Dave) Erickson; her grandchildren, John (Beth) Peterson, Chad (Corinna) Peterson, Corissa (Randy) Erdman, Jenna Lowe, Kate Lowe, Jill (Cory) Anderson, and Adam McQuiston; and her great-grandchildren, Cole and Macy Peterson, Anna and Blake Erdman, Dalton, Ethan and Alex Anderson. A Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM with a Celebration of Dolores' Life at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Roberts Family Funeral Home.[more]
