SUSAN LaRUE MUSCATINE, Iowa - Susan K. LaRue, 60, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Lutheran Homes. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Sharon Phillips will officiate. Casket Bearers will be her grandchildren, Teresa, Ritter, Marty, Tyler, Renee, Keenan, Jamiah, and Chrissy. Honorary Bearers will be her grandchildren, Abby, Bri, Mitch, Levi and Alisha. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Randi Peniston. Susan was born on May 11, 1953, in Muscatine, the daughter of John and Marjorie Weas Roberson. She married Martin Witkoske on February 7, 1970 at Zion Lutheran Church in Muscatine and later married Randy LaRue on April 24, 2000, in Rock Island. He preceded her in death in November 14, 2002. She is survived by a two sons, Daniel Witkoske of Muscatine, and Randy LaRue Jr. of Davenport; four daughters, Dana Noble and her fiancé, Scott Boles, of New London, Jennifer Cubbage and husband, Martin Jr., of Port Louisa, Randi Witkoske Peniston of Muscatine, and Angie LaRue of Davenport; 18 grandchildren; her father, John Roberson of Muscatine; two brothers, Larry Roberson and wife, Linda, of Muscatine, and Jim Roberson and wife, Nancy, of Muscatine; one sister, Lori Dietrich and husband, Curt, of Muscatine; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marge Roberson; her husband, Randy LaRue; her aunt and uncle, Winnie and Frank Fusco; and her four legged children, Bubba and Murphy.
