Danny Michael Wendell

Danny Michael Wendell II, 43, of Fort Dodge passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday April 1, 2014. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday April 5, 2014 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Danny was born in Fort Dodge on August 31, 1970 to Danny and Sharon Wendell. He grew up and attended school in Fort Dodge. He married Beth Fawcett on September 11, 1993 and they later divorced but remained great friends. He was a very hard worker and worked as a foreman for Fort Dodge Asphalt for 26 years. He loved his family and would have them over to grill out every Sunday. He enjoyed going to drag races and working on cars. He also enjoyed camping, raising his fish and riding his motorcycle. He also loved listening to music.
