Helen Kohler Fedele

Helen Kohler Fedele, recently of Dock Woods Community in Lansdale, died April 6, 2014 at Abington Hospice at Warminster after several months of declining health. She was 87. Helen was born in Philadelphia on April 23, 1926 to James O. and Eleanore LeClare. She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Kohler, her son Chuck Kohler, her second husband Tom Fedele, and her four siblings. She is survived by daughters Sandy (Bill) Tyner and Pat Kohler (Jerry Diamond), daughter-in-law Pat Kotwa Kohler, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Helen was a 1944 graduate of Ambler High School. In 1946, at the time of her marriage, she moved to and became an integral part of Kohler Farms in Horsham Township. When she and Tom married in 1979, he moved to the farm where they lived until moving to Lansdale in 2011. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the many friends who visited her bedside during her final days, her beloved doctor Ira Gerstman, and the caring staff at Abington Hospice.
