Mary Teresa Madden

Mary Teresa Madden, Age 85 died Thursday April 24, 2014 at her home in Maple Glen. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Mary Violet (nee Bayer) Barron. Mrs. Madden was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Madden in May of 2012 and her son Michael D. Madden in August 1981. Mrs. Madden was a graduate of Little Flower High School class of 1946 in Philadelphia. She and her husband Charles were a founding family of St. Alphonsus Church in Maple Glen where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to raising her family and assisting her husband with his business ventures, Mrs. Madden worked as an Insurance Underwriter for New York Life and as a Technical Editor for Medical Publisher The Springhouse Corporation prior to her retirement in 1997. Her joys were family gatherings, traveling, reading, gardening, nature walks, piano, and her cats. She is the devoted mother of Christopher J. (Carmen) Madden of West Palm Beach, FL, Teresa M.
