l the end of his life. He was employed nearly 40 years with Horn Manufacturing/Avco New Idea farm equipment, retiring in 1983. He enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, traveling, and hunting and he and his family enjoyed many years at their cabin on Twin Lakes. In retirement he and Loretta wintered for nearly 15 years in Arizona, Florida, and Georgia. He was a long-time member of the American Legion and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. Memorials may be sent to St. Paul Lutheran. The graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday May 24, 2014 at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge.
