Dennis Darrell Zenor

Dennis Zenor, 69, of Fort Dodge, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at the Marian Home in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday, May 30, 2014 at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge with Rev. John Sersland officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. Dennis D. Zenor was born May 15, 1945 in Fort Dodge to Helen Rose (Abbott) and Darrell "Curley" Zenor. Survivors include his wife Jane, Daughters and families; Stacey and Brice Siemons of Greenwoon, IN and Jolynn and Victor Carresquillo of Green Acers, FL, Grandchildren; Kaitlynn, Michael, Madison Siemons and Dartisha Green; Step son-in-law; Dennis Fuller and his spouse Penny, Step Granddaughter; Cassandra, Step Great grandsons: Cullin, Brock, Joey and Kyler. Brothers; Bruce and his spouse DarLou Zenor of Conroy, TX and David Zenor of Waterloo, IA. Preceding him in death are his parents, and sister Sharon. a Central Community College one year and was drafted in 1965. Dennis was honorably discharged from the Army in 1967. In 1968, Dennis married Diann Frank. They later divorced. On May 24, 2004 in Dennis married Jane Fuller. Being a company driver and independent contractor, Dennis drove for Mallinger Trucking from 1967 until 1980. Going into dispatch was next for Dennis working for Mallinger Truck Line, Crouse Cartage, Greenfield Transportation and then SMX, Inc. in 1985 working in Driver Personnel where he had been working until retirement in 2008. Dennis was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, Abate Member and a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church. Memorials will be left to the discretion of the family.
