Connie Anderson

Colleen "Connie" B. Anderson, 86, of Fort Dodge, died May 28, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Gunderson Funeral Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in North Lawn Cemetery. Colleen Hanson, the daughter of Elvin and Arbie (Sande) Hanson, was born January 21, 1928 in Humboldt County. She graduated DMT school and became a cosmetologist. She also worked as waitress. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Charlie. Survivors include her children; Joe (Shirlee) Gross of Fort Dodge, Peggy (Jim) Nelson of Manson, LuAnne Gross, Susie Derrig, both of Fort Dodge; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and her sister Marlene Springer of Ellsworth. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Ivle Gross, Don Anderson and son Lynn Arthur. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. [more]
