Made her eternal transformation from earth to heaven on June 3, 2014 Bertha Rivera, daughter to the late Willie Bates Sr. and Alberta Smith Bates She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Tommy Bates, Catherine Williams, Attie Pearl Deville, Willie Bates Jr., Joey Bates and Chester Bates. She is survived by her loving husband Rico Rivera, her beloved sons and daughters; Desiree Bates, Anthony, Bates, Haywood Armstrong Jr, Jennifer Rivera Robertson Martin, Grandchildren, Tasha, Haywood III, Jayamary, Mathew, Anthony, Romello, Hayley, Trace, Lily Great grand children: Armaan, Micah, Taliyah, Makayla Sisters and Brothers: Betty Amison-Morris Lewis, Louis Bates, Morris Bates, Barbara Bates Mickles, Mary Bates Davis, Kenneth Bates Visitation on Friday, June 13th from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood Funeral Service on Saturday, June 14th beginning at 11:00 A.M.
