Passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 3, 2014, age 91. Adored father of Delores Graves Walker, Donald and Kenneth Walker. Affectionate "Papa" of Vera (Chad) Davis, Renee (Matt) Barber, Victoria Walker, Natasha Walker, Nola Johnson, LaTonia Bowie, Kimberly Walker and Bryan Walker. Dear brother of Rosemary Dewalt of Livingston, TX. Fond brother-in-law of Deloris Jackson and Jean (Terry) Moore of Edmonton, Canada and Charles Qualls of Milwaukee, WI. Preceded in death by his loving wife Ernestine (nee Qualls), 1 brother and 2 sisters. Also loved by 8 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Wednesday, June 18, 12:00-12:45 PM. Memorial service 1:00 PM. Richard proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. After his discharge he made his home in Milwaukee where he worked for the Heil Company until he retired after 35 years of service.
