KIMBERLY A. WENZEL Mrs. Kim Wenzel, of Cedar Grove, passed away at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 12, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a day away from her 45th birthday. Kim was born on June 13, 1969 in DeLand, FL, daughter of Eric P. and Flora "Daun" Viers Olsen. She attended local schools and graduated from DeLand High School with the Class of 1987 and earned her Associates Degree from Daytona Beach Junior College. She was a Clerk of Court in Volusia County prior to moving to Wisconsin 2003. Kim was united in marriage with Daniel Wenzel in Sheboygan on January 30, 2005. The couple settled in Cedar Grove. Mrs. Wenzel worked for Acuity Insurance Company in Sheboygan as a Claims Processor. Kim enjoyed quilting and crafting, and loved to face any challenge presented to her. She could see a piece of work, go home and figure out how it was made, and make her own version of it. Kim is survived by her husband Dan, her son Justin Sapp of Milwaukee and step-daughters Sophia Wenzel of Cedar Grove and Joy Wenzel of Oklahoma City, OK. FL, sister Shauna Lea (Andy) Fisher of Des Moines, IA, parents-in-law Diane & Thomas Wenzel, also of Cedar Grove, brothers-in-law Paul (Cheryl) Wenzel of Cedar Grove and Jeff Wenzel of Oak Creek, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Eric P. Olsen. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., Belgium, on Thursday, June 19th from 4-7PM. Memorials are suggested to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in lieu of flowers.
