Travis J. Habhab, 32, of Fort Dodge, died suddenly on Monday, July 28, 2014, at his home. A service honoring Travis' life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 1, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lyle Hansen officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. The visitation is 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family. Travis is survived by his parents, Timothy and Bette A. Habhab, Fort Dodge; his sister Ashley Habhab, Davenport; his paternal grandmother Bettie L. Habhab, his aunts and uncles, Tami Habhab, Tina Habhab, Sue Irlbeck, Barb Weinbrandt, Dennis Linde, Gail Linde, Bruce Linde and Renee Bierstedt; along with many cousins and other family members. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Louisa Linde, paternal grandfather Ollie Habhab, and his aunt Mary Kay Snell. Travis Jay Habhab, the son of Timothy and Bette A. a degree in Turf Grass Management from Iowa Central Community College in 2009. Travis began working at Lakeside Golf Course in 2002 as a ball ranger. He worked on the grounds of both Sunkissed Meadows and Lakeside Golf Course. At the time of his passing, Travis was the club house manager at Lakeside Golf Course. Travis was a fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago White Sox. He loved all sports and was an avid golfer. He loved to help friends and family by mowing their yards and shoveling their driveways and sidewalks and will be remembered for his meticulous work. Travis especially loved his family and his dogs, Sadie, Baby and his late dog, Max.
