Jerry L. Tufts

Jerry L. Tufts, age 71, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 at his home. He was born in Kettering, Ohio. Jerry was formerly employed with Lexis Nexis, was a volunteer firefighter for Clearcreek Township and the city of Carlisle and is also a veteran of the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Sutton. Jerry is survived by his wife of 33 years, Claudia Tufts; his two sons, William Tufts, Michael Tufts; two daughters, Jennifer (Johnny) Tufts-Tackett, Amy White; three grandchildren, Evan Lynd, Jacob Lynd, Jessica Ashman; brother, Thomas (Lois) Tufts; as well as numerous other loved ones. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 E. Second St. Franklin, OH 45005.
