Arline Davis, 94, of Ft. Lauderdale passed on August 2, 2014. Born May 14, 1920, in Shelton, Nebraska, Arline was the daughter of Harvey and Clare (Rosenthal) Bayley, one of eleven children.
After moving to south Florida, Arline worked as a Registered Nurse at Broward General Hospital before going in to private duty health care. She was an active member of the Oakland Park Bridge Club.
Arline is survived by her children, Connie Davis of Miami, Jim Davis (Deborah) of Maggie Valley, NC and Leslie Davis (Matthew Swinehart) of Ft. Lauderdale; grandchildren, Thomas Pedrazas (Viviana Leyva), Lori Wilhite (Robert), David Pedrazas and April Masterson (Adam); 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dick Bayley and Rodney Bayley (Colleen) and sister, Berneta Abts.
Arline was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Davis and seven brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., with the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Fred Hunter's Downtown Ft. Lauderdale Funeral Home, 718 S. Federal Highway. Arline's grandson-in-law, Rev. Adam Masterson will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park.
