Michael Cory Hartley

Michael Cory Hartley, 25, of Davie passed away August 21, 2014. He was born May 21, 1989, in Hollywood, the son of Ron and Denise (Cammisa) Hartley. Michael graduated from Nova High School in 2007 and from Nova Southeastern University in 2014. He was one of the baseball coaches at Cooper City High School in 2013 and at the University School of Nova Southeastern University this year. Michael is survived by his parents, Ron and Denise; sister, Talia Hartley (Angel Ordaz); brother, Cameron Hartley (Abbey Fayerweather); niece, Mila Grace Ordaz; grandparents, Joe and Cathy Cammisa; grandmother, Jeanette Hartley; aunts and uncles, Tony Cammisa (Judy) and Michael Cammisa (Peter Arvanitis); cousins, Joey and Kaity Cammisa and his canine companions, Mason and Bella. Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dallas H. Hartley and aunt, Cynthia S. Hartley. The Memorial Service will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Saint David Catholic Church; 3900 South University Drive in Davie with Father Edmond Prendergast officiating.
