Robert William Forsythe

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Robert was born November 3, 1965, in Emmetsburg, IA, the son of George and Barbara (Thul) Forsythe. He was a 1984 graduate of West Bend High School. Following his education, he joined the United States Army. After Bob left the Army, he lived in Algona for many years. Bob enjoyed fishing, listening to music, watching movies and playing video games. On Wednesday, September 10, 2014, Bob passed away at the Pomeroy Care Center after a lengthy battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Bob is survived by his mother, Barbara Forsythe of San Tan Valley, AZ; father, George Forsythe of West Bend; three brothers: Gary (Bettina) of West Bend, David (Joni) of Herndon, VA and Mark (Heather) of Whittemore; 9 sisters: Julie Aldaz (Andrew) of Grand Canyon, AZ, Kathryn Cheney (Matt) of Silver Spring, MD, Debra Gibson of Queen Creek, AZ, Mary Gearhart of West Bend, Janet Nihill (Tim) of Chandler, AZ, Jill Kinney (Tom) of Owego, NY, Joni Villagomez (Jon) of Utah, Gina Spotten (James) of Chandler, AZ and Diane Sanders (Travis) of San Tan V...[more]
