Frieda Werner

Frieda A. Werner Mrs. Frieda Werner (formerly White) of Grafton passed away Tuesday evening, September 16, 2014 at Stone Haven in Grafton. She was 97 years old. Frieda was born May 11, 1917 in Milwaukee County, the daughter of Wilhelm and Anna. On December 20, 1941, she was united in marriage with Chester White. He preceded her in death in 1953. She later married Edward Werner on September 17, 1957. He preceded her in death in 1995. For 32 years, Frieda worked at Briggs and Stratton as an assembly worker. Frieda was a member of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, and the Briggs and Stratton Old Timers. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, going on vacations with her family. Frieda is survived by her two daughters: Yevonne Gregory of Palmetto, FL and Bonnie (Jim) Michels of Cedarburg. She is further survived by her granddaughter Cherie (Rick) Land, great-grandson Eric, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Monday, September 22 at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church, 607 Wauwatosa Road in Cedarburg. Pastor Mark Rohrback will officiate.
