Bernice S. LaCasse

Bernice S. LaCasse August 31, 1932 - September 18, 2014 Our beloved mother, Bernice has been released from the constraints of Alzheimer's to sing and dance freely with the angels. She was greeted by her parents, Frank and Stephanie Marier; brothers, Vernon, Narcisse, Walter and Albert; husband, Loren "Skip" Gentz and granddaughter, Amber. Bernice was most proud of her family. When asked how many children, she would hold up both hands, fingers spread wide and proclaim, "I have 10 kids!" In order: Gordon (Deborah), Sharon, Thomas, Bruce (Janet), Linda (Steve), Daniel, David (Linnea) Gary (Lynn), Carolyn and Tim. She is also very proudly survived by 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, her brother, Lloyd Marier and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bernice's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Sat., Sept. 27th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM until time of service.
