Michael George Morrison, 41, of Tipton, died peacefully, on September 27, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospital. Funeral services for Michael will be held at 11AM, Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, Iowa. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the funeral from 10-11AM. A luncheon will follow the funeral at Tipton's VFW. Private inurnment will be at the First Presbyterian Church Columbarium in Iowa City, Iowa at a later date. Michael was born July 22, 1973, son of George Morrison and Bonita Swails in Iowa City, Iowa. Michael graduated from Iowa City's City High School and went on to earn a Truck Driving Certificate from Kirkwood Community College. Michael spent his life fulfilling his passion as a semi-truck driver, most recently for Bennett Grain. He loved all things on wheels. He married Miranda McMeins in Iowa City, Iowa.
