ake Vista, cooking at the Country Club and the Charitone Hotel, and in the Chariton Public Library's music room. Evelyn really enjoyed music and dancing. She also loved to go for motorcycle rides with her son, Paul. Evelyn had a very positive outlook on life and believed that she could change the world with hard work and good values. She did this by instilling her work ethic and good values in her children. Evelyn passed away on September 27, 2014 at her home surrounded by family. She will be greatly missed by her husband Roy; her children and their families: Roberta & Jerry Cochran-Zavitz, Mary Cochran, Julie & Curt Blanchard, Paul Cochran, Eileen McVey, Mike Cochran, and Christine & Robert Seto; 3 grandchildren: Noah, Austin, and Justin; and 3 great grandchildren: Cash, Thalia, and Odin. Also surviving are siblings: Doris Rottinghaus and Bob Cavanaugh. Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Cochran, and her brother, Jim Cavanaugh.
