Robert "Bob" Maher

Robert "Bob" Maher, 67, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Laurie Care Center, Laurie, Missouri with family members by his side. Robert "Bob" Eugene Maher was born June 28, 1947 in Council Bluffs, IA, son of Francis L. and Wilma Rose (Coy) Maher. He was raised on a farm north of Imogene and attended Union School. He was united in marriage to Ann Burkhiser on October 11, 1969 and to this union six children were born. He was united in marriage to Jeanne Fitzgerald on April 11, 1992. Bob farmed with his Dad and continued with dairy/farming in the Corning/Bedford area for many years. He later was a milk hauler in Missouri over twenty years. Preceding Bob in death were his father and mother; brothers, Michael, Roger and Matthew; sister, Mary Beth Morton and her husband Buck.
