Chase D. Miller, 21, of rural Hubbard, NE passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Emerson, NE with Rev. Gretchen Ritola officiating. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery in rural Homer at a later date. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, October 20, 2014, with the family present at 6:00 P.M. and a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Chase was born in Sioux City, IA on April 18, 1993, the son of Douglas and Tammy (Stolze) Miller. He graduated from Emerson-Hubbard High School in 2011. He was working toward an Ag Econ degree at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. While attending college, he also worked full time on the family farm. Chase was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Emerson. He enjoyed spending time with his family, girlfriend, Stacy, Sunday night dinners at Grandma's and Papa's, going to the ranch, farming, raising livestock and hunting, and he loved watching Husker football games.
