John L. Kuhn

John L. Kuhn, age 93, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Saturday October 18, 2014 at Hillspring Health Care Center. He was the son of the late Albert and Agnes Kuhn. Born to them on January 26, 1921 in Dayton, OH. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Franklin, OH. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1941. He enlisted in the Air Force/Air Corp in December 1941. On a 30 day leave he was united in marriage to Francis Opal Murray, on August 25, 1945. They raised four boys. Mr. Kuhn worked as a Program Planner at Monsanto for 20 years. He retired in 1982. After several years of retirement he went to work for Anderson Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Opal Kuhn of 67 years, two sons, Mike and Pat Allen, brother, Leonard Kuhn, sisters, Mary Woodward and Angela Reese. John is survived by his son's, Dan Kuhn and wife Wilma, Randy Kuhn of Corbin, KY; daughters-in-law Deborah Allen of Baltimore, MD, Dee Allen of Portland, TX; sister-in-law Betty Haddix of Ruckersville, VA; brother-in-law Gene Murray and wife Darlene of Birmingham, AL; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
