Mary Ellen Ervin

Mrs. Mary Ellen Ervin , 81, of Seymour passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Lutheran Community Home. Mary was born March 14, 1933 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Vella Hudson. On December 1, 1956 in Seymour, she married Donald E. Ervin who preceded her in death September 7, 2013. Mrs. Ervin was a member of Seymour First Church of the Nazarene. She had been employed at Canfields, which later became Pantasote for 28 plus years. Mary is survived by her son David Joe Ervin and daughter Brenda (George) Cook. Her survivors include grandchildren, Jennifer Cook, Christy Cook, great granddaughter Caylin Cook and a brother Estill Hudson. She is also survived by her good friend, Judy Stockdale. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers, Veston Hudson and Frank Hudson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Steve Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Tuesday, November 25, from 11:00am until time of service.
