Helen S Ault

Mrs. Helen S. Ault, 91, of Seymour, passed away December 6, 2014 at Lutheran Community Home. Born December 26, 1922, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Loyd and Ida Faye (Bennett) Spurgeon. On October 3, 1944, in Washington D.C., she married Gerald "Keith" Ault who preceded her in death August 9, 2001. Helen graduated from Freetown High School in 1940 and was a 1942 graduate of Indiana Business School in Columbus, IN. After graduating business school, she was assigned to secretarial work in the War Production Board, Chemical Division in Washington D.C. After returning to Freetown, she then became employed at Cosco, where she worked as a secretary until her retirement in November, 1984. Mrs. Ault was a member of Freetown United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children: Terry (Carla) Ault, Karen Ault; and grandsons: Bryan Ault, Aaron Ault, and Ethan Ault. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Kendra Ault, brothers, Charles "Don" Spurgeon, Larry Spurgeon, and sister, Grace "Laverne" Gredy.
