Aurelia Muresan Holloway

Aurelia Muresan Holloway, formerly of Snyder and Williamsville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 11, 2014, at Merrill Hills Manor in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where she had resided for the past four years. She was 95 years old. Aurelia was an active member of the Buffalo metropolitan arts community, volunteering at Studio Arena Theatre and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra for much of her adult life. She also was a member of the Twentieth Century Club in Buffalo. Aurelia was a lover of arts and music, receiving her Bachelor's degree from SUNY Fredonia (then known as Fredonia State Teachers' College). Fredonia was one of the state teachers' colleges traditionally specializing in music education, which was her passion. She played piano and brought her love of music and the arts to her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Holloway, Sr., who passed away in 2003 at age 86. Aurelia is survived by three sons, Robert L.
