Robert A. Schuh
Robert A. Schuh Mr. Robert Schuh, of Port Washington, joined his wife in their Heavenly Home on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Columbia St. Mary's in Mequon at the age of 87. Robert was born May 7, 1927 in Sheboygan, the son of Arno and Alma (nee Graefe) Schuh. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp during WWII. On June 5, 1948 he was united in marriage with Evelyn Sudbrink. For over 20 years, he worked as a custodian for River Hills School District at Maple Dale School and Indian Hill School, retiring in 1989. Robert was a member of St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church, and had been very active with Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County. Robert was an avid Brewers fan, and enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and reading. Robert is survived by his children: Mary Lou (Keith) Johnson of Fredonia, Nancy Thompson of Waukesha and Thomas (Karmon) Schuh of Port Washington, 5 grandchildren; Jodie (Craig) Falk of West Bend, Julie (Matt) Caswell of Fredonia, Heather (Sean) Fargo of Greenfield, Melissa (Zyle) Newell of Fredonia and Danielle Schuh of St. Francis, 9 great-grandchildren; Brady, Mason, Alyssa, Evan, Madilyn, Ava, Caleb, Sydney and Olivia. by his siblings: Jean (Albert) Leiter of Lomira , Donald (Jeanette) Schuh of Campbellsport, Dorothy (Charles) Opitz of Mineral Point, Gerald (Judy) Schuh of West Bend and James (Sherry) Schuh of Saukville, sister-in-law Katie Schuh of Menomonee Falls, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Robert is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, his grandson, Jeremy Johnson, brother Rodney and sisters Phyllis and Jeanette. Funeral Services will be held at 3PM on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church, 1525 N. Grant St. in Port Washington. Pastor Martin Wildauer will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 1-3PM. Robert will be laid to rest beside his wife Evelyn at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
